Aschwin de Wolf (born in the 1970s) is a Dutch-born American cryonicist. A Master of Science,[1] he is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Advanced Neural Biosciences.[2] In 2007, he founded the Depressed Metabolism blog that eventually became Biostasis.com.[3] He also cofounded and was the president of the Institute for Evidence-Based Cryonics[4] and, as of 2022, is the president and CEO of Biostasis Technologies.[5]

He moved to the United States from the Netherlands in 2000.[6] He signed up for cryopreservation with the Alcor Life Extension Foundation at its Fifth Alcor Conference on Extreme Life Extension in November 2002,[7] although a source says he joined Alcor in January 2003.[6] From 2004 to 2007 at Suspended Animation, Inc., he was involved in readiness planning, creating standby and cryoprotection capabilities, and writing protocols and documentation.[2]

He also is an editor of the Cryonics magazine and co-author of Alcor's comprehensive technical procedures manual, Human Cryopreservation Procedures.[2] He is a co-editor of Alcor's book Preserving Minds, Saving Lives (2015).[8]
