The Great Grave Robbery
The Great Grave Robbery is a 1989 novel written by Harvard writing instructor and mystery writer John Minahan,[1] a long-time friend of Robert Ettinger.[2]
The novel features Robert and Mae Erickson (named after Robert and Mae Ettinger). Robert Erickson is the author of The Prospect of Life Extension, named after The Prospect of Immortality.[1]
According to the Cryonics Institute, there are "some technical scientific inaccuracies, but on the whole [the book is] a real treat, especially if you know a little about cryonics history."[1]

The mystery begins with the theft of thirty-six vials of a substance essential to the process of reanimation. Now, twenty years later, Little John Rawlings sets out to catch the thief who has resurfaced after being pronounced dead. Rawlings must find the mysterious stranger and learn what happened nearly two decades ago.
