Fallout

Fallout is a multimedia franchise depicting a post-apocalyptic United States, named after the 1997 video game Fallout.

Cryonics appears several times throughout the Fallout series, such as in the 2015 game Fallout 4 where it is used as a plot device for the player character to reawaken hundreds of years in the future, as well as in the 2024 Amazon series where it is used by the executives of Vault-Tec to survive nuclear war.
