CI-100 (c. 1926 – legal death 2010)[1] is the 100th patient of the Cryonics Institute.[1] He was an 84-year-old World War II veteran for the United States Air Force.[1] He had been a mink farmer for most of his life.[1]
He legally died of sepsis.[1] A post-mortem signup patient, he was held in dry ice at least two weeks before CI accepted him as a cryonics patient, in compliance with CI's requirement.[1] Then his son drove his father to CI, arriving just before the beginning of the Cryonics Institute Annual General Meeting on September 19, 2010.[1] The patient's arrival at CI is seen in the We Will Live Again documentary film by Brooklyn Underground Films.[2] The patient was straight frozen, without administration of a cryoprotectant.[1]
