A number of events regarding cryonics occurred in 2023.

February – The Southern Cryonics facility is completed in Holbrook, New South Wales, Australia.
February 28 – At its general meeting, the Japan Translife Association decides to dissolve the association and carry out the dissolution registration. Translife will continue its activities as a volunteer organization.
early 2023 – Cryonics Monitoring is founded.
March 28 – The International Life Extension Research Alliance Launch Conference is held.
April 14 – The Jäädytetty kuolemani documentary film is released.
c. May 26 – Saul Kent legally dies and is cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation.
late August – Bredo Morstøl is transferred from Nederland, Colorado to Estes Park, Colorado and accepted as patient of the Alcor Life Extension Foundation.
October 13–15 – The Biostasis2023 conference is held.
October 22 – Don Laughlin legally dies and is cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation.
c. November 13 – Steve Harris legally dies and is later cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation.
November 11 – The Norwegian Cryonics Association is founded.
