Events

• January 19 – Thomas K. Donaldson legally dies and is cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation.
• February 6 – Anita Riskin legally dies and is cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation.
• May 14 – The German Society for Applied Biostasis is founded.
• September – The Immortalist magazine changes its name to Long Life.
• October 6–8 – The 6th Alcor Conference is held.
