Manrise Corporation
The Manrise Corporation or just Manrise was an American for-profit cryonics organization founded by Fred and Linda Chamberlain.[1] Incorporated on March 30, 1971,[2] the purpose of Manrise was to provide the biomedical services required to cryopreserve patients and possibly to provide long-term cryonic care, as well.[1] A year later in 1972, the Chamberlains founded the Alcor Society for Solid State Hypothermia (currently the Alcor Life Extension Foundation). Manrise was merged out in 1978.[2]
Manrise published the newsletters Manrise Technical Review and Hourglass.
