Advanced Neural Biosciences

Advanced Neural Biosciences, Inc. (ANB) is an American biomedical research company located in Portland, Oregon and Brooklyn, New York.[2] Founded in late 2008,[3] its aim is to perfect low temperature technologies to preserve central nervous tissue and whole brains for brain banking, pharmacological drug discovery, and the study of neurodegenerative diseases.[2] Another focus of the company is the development of novel compounds to restore optimal blood flow to the brain after stroke and cardiac arrest.[2]
ANB's president is Chana Phaedra, and the chief executive officer is Aschwin de Wolf.[4]
ANB has received funding and equipment from the Immortalist Society, the Life Extension Foundation, the Cryonics Institute, and the Alcor Life Extension Foundation.[5] ANB collaborates with Alcor on a variety of research projects.[6]
