Aurinkotuuli (novel)
Aurinkotuuli (The Solar Wind) is a 1975 novel written by Finnish film producer and scriptwriter Kullervo Kukkasjärvi (1938–1983).[1] The main character is gravity researcher Robert Rankama who gets revived from cryopreservation after 30 years.[2] The novel was adapted into a 1980 film of the same name,[1] produced by Kukkasjärvi.[3]
Previously, Kukkasjärvi had worked with the 1969 science fiction film A Time of Roses (Ruusujen aika).[2] The film has a short scene about cryonics. The film inspired him to write the Aurinkotuuli novel.[1] Kukkasjärvi committed suicide in 1983.[4]
