A number of events regarding cryonics occurred in 2021.

Events

• January 23 – The first three episodes of the Cryonics Underground podcast are released.
• March 1 – Cryonics Wiki is founded.
• Early 2021 – The Alcor Life Extension Foundation procures the first cadaver for the RAPID research program.
• June 17 – Open Cryonics is founded.
• September 7 – KrioRus leadership controversy: Valeriya Udalova's team attempts to take big cryocapsules (with patients inside them) with her from the KrioRus facility in Sergiyev Posad, Russia.
• September 11 – The 2021 Annual Strategic Board Meeting of Alcor is held.
• September 12 – The 2021 Cryonics Institute Annual General Meeting is held.
• September 28 – KrioRus leadership controversy: Danila Medvedev's team takes the neuropatients from Valeriya Udalova in Tver, Russia.
• October 22–23 – The Biostasis2021 conference is held.
• November – Osiris changes its name to Cryonics America.
