The Cryonics Institute (CI) is an American nonprofit organization that conducts whole-body preservations. Its facility is currently located in Clinton Township, Michigan, United States. CI was founded in 1976 by Robert Ettinger who became known as "the father of cryonics" with his book The Prospect of Immortality (1962). The current president is Dennis Kowalski.

As of March 2025, CI has 268 patients and 1,995 members,[1] but not all of them are signed up for cryopreservation.

CI publishes the Cryonics Institute Magazine.
