A number of events regarding cryonics occurred in 2024.

Events

• May 12 – Southern Cryonics cryopreserves its first patient.
• May 20 – The scientific journal Cell Reports Methods publishes a Chinese study in which the function of brain organoids and living brain tissue could be restored after they were cooled in liquid nitrogen and then rewarmed.
• July 20–21 – The Global Cryonics Summit is held.
• September 29 – The 500th Cryonics Wiki article is created.
• October 11–13 – The Biostasis2024 conference is held.
• December 3 – CryoDAO manages to crowdfund around $900,000 for its CRYORAT project.
• December – The Science of Hope: Practical Cryonics book is published.
• December 19 – The iOS version of the Cryonics Institute's Check-In app is released.

• David Pizer legally dies and is cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation.
• The Law of Cryonics book is published.
