The German Society for Applied Biostasis (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Angewandte Biostase e. V., DGAB) is the largest cryonics organization in Germany.[1] It was founded on May 14, 2006 in Kassel.[2] Klaus Sames was the founder and the first chairman of the society, having later been elected honorary chairman of it.[3]

The society organized the Applied Cryobiology – Scientific Symposium on Cryonics 2010 in Goslar,[4] and the Applied Cryobiology – Scientific Symposium on Cryonics 2014 in Dresden.[5]
