A number of events regarding cryonics occurred in 2012.

Events

• March 22 – Fred Chamberlain is cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation.
• May 15 – Southern Cryonics is incorporated as Stasis Systems Australia.
• June – The Lifespan Society of British Columbia is formally constituted.
• September – Dennis Kowalski becomes the president of the Cryonics Institute.
• October 19–21 – The Alcor-40 Conference is held.
• November 23 – Cryonics Services Australia is incorporated.
