It is based on the short story The Nostalgist, written by Daniel H. Wilson.
Plot[править]
When a Man's augmented reality device becomes faulty, he must leave his seemingly Victorian home in order to find a replacement part.
Transhumanist Elements[править]
The main technology featured in The Nostalgist is that of an augmented reality device. The boy is also some kind of robot or cyborg, it is not clear whether he is perhaps an AI creation, or perhaps the Man's own son who has had his mind uploaded into the machine.
