The Jetsons is largely sit-com based in its plot which is focused around family life in a futuristic time, each episode having its own storyline.
Transhumanist Elements[править]
The show isn't necessarily transhumanist, but it does feature space exploration as its main story element, and many other future technologies are also featured heavily.
The series depicts a world where many tasks have been taken care of by many labor saving advancements, such as house maintenance being taken care of by the robot maid "Rosie".
George Jetson only works for 2 days per week, for 1 hour per day. This plot point could perhaps be interpreted as a response to technological unemployment.
The series heavily features flying cars.
