Giulio Prisco, (Naples, Italy, 1957) is an Italian physicist, computer scientist, consultant, writer, futurist, transhumanist and cryonics advocate whose areas of interest include emerging technologies and virtual worlds, immortality and mind uploading, space exploration and the future of religion.[1]

Prisco formerly worked as manager for the European Space Agency (ESA). He has served as executive director and board member of the World Transhumanist Association. He is a director on the board of the Italian Transhumanist Association, the Associazione Italiana Transumanisti and for the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies.[2]

Prisco is also a founding member of nascent groups the Order of Cosmic Engineers and the Turing Church, both of which claim that the the effects of the technological singularity will provide an emerging alternative to religion.[3][4] He is a contributing writer with online magazine Tendencias21.[5]
