Dr. Andrea Foote (March 23, 1941 – legal death October 6, 1995)[1][2] was the president of the Cryonics Institute (CI) briefly in 1994, but soon stepped down from the presidency when she became ill with ovarian cancer.[3] She was a Contract Officer for CI for many years, and she also was a social psychologist at the University of Michigan.[1]

With her husband Jack Erfurt,[2] she established the "Wellness Outreach at Work Program" at the University of Michigan, which included regular blood pressure checks at automakers. In their honor, the University of Michigan School of Social Work established the Andrea Foote–Jack Erfurt Scholarship.[4]

She legally died of cancer on October 6, 1995, and was cryopreserved by CI, becoming CI's 15th patient.[2]
