Futurist
A Futurist is someone who studies or otherwise has an interest in futurism.
Such a person need not personally be a transhumanist or life extensionist, but may study these areas none the less.

Most technophiles are futurists, even if their interest only stretches as far as the next product release from Apple.
Other established interests includes people with an interest in space exploration.
Specialist professions[править]
People working in a number of areas of emerging technologies such as AI or existential risk research, programming or other fast-evolving profession have a tendency towards being futurists.
Strategists[править]
Consultants within industry often position their advice as extended strategic planning, factoring larger scale business challenges around automation, big data or artificial intelligence as it pertains to a specific organisation.
