Liz Parrish is the founder and CEO of biotech firm BioViva and a life extension activist.[1][2][3]

Her self-experimentation of the company's genetic therapies using heretofore-untested CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing as “Patient Zero” has been controversial within the scientific community, but highly encouraging to transhumanist and life extension advocates.

She founded BioTrove Investments which turned into BioViva and the news site Longevity Reporter. She is secretary of the American Longevity Alliance and an affiliate member of the Complex Biological Systems Alliance.[4]
