Mortal Engines is a book and series with a 2018 film adaptation of Philip Reeve's world of mobile cities, steampunk and cyberpunk technologies in a dystopian future.[1]

Futuristic technologies

Many futuristic technologies can no longer be manufactured since the cataclysmic events of 'The 60 minute war' but are often salvaged and set to work in any case. These include:

  • Cyborgs are created by wiping the memory of a dying soldier and placing the brain into a robotic casing
  • Artificial intelligences were created to control some of the most deadly super weapons
