Newton Lee
Newton Lee is a computer scientist, author, futurist, chairman of the California Transhumanist Party,[1] and education and media advisor for the United States Transhumanist Party.[2] Previously he was a campaign advisor to Zoltan Istvan for the 2016 U.S. presidential election.[3]
Lee has written about Transhumanism in his book Google It: Total Information Awareness (Springer Science+Business Media, 2016). The book was lauded by Dr. Laura Wilhelm for The Hollywood Times that "Newton Lee's thorough and thoughtful analysis should please pacifists in search of lasting solutions to the planet's biggest problems."[4]
In July 2019, he released a book, The Transhumanism Handbook (Springer Science+Business Media, 2019) which is an edited collection of articles on transhumanism by over 60 transhumanists.
Lee identifies as a Christian transhumanist.[5]
