Ed Hope
Edward Francis "Ed" Hope[1] (1920–2001)[2][3][4] was the president of the Cryo-Care Equipment Corporation,[1] a company that manufactured cryocapsules and cryopreserved people for cosmetic reasons. He founded it in 1965.[5] Before starting Cryo-Care, Hope had owned a racetrack, delivered oil, operated a New Jersey nightclub called Chubby’s, and established a very lucrative career in wig making.[5]
Cryo-Care cryopreserved four people in the 1960s: "Sarah Gilbert", Louis Nisco, Eva Schulman, and Donald Kester Sr.
