Rose Selkovitch
Rose Selkovitch (née Plasetsky; May 1906 – legal death March 29, 2008)[1][2] is the oldest cryopreserved person in the world, having been cryopreserved when she was 101. Her identifier being A-2340, she was neuropreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation in the end of March 2008.[2][3]
She was born in Russia, emigrated to England, and married Mark Selkovitch in March 1933.[1] Her son, Ronald Selkovitch, was cryopreserved by Alcor on August 28, 2015.[4] His wife, Mariette Selkovitch, had been cryopreserved by Alcor a few months before him.[5]
