Fred Chamberlain Jr.

Frederick Rockwell Chamberlain II[1] (known as Fred Chamberlain Jr.; March 28, 1897 – legal death July 16, 1976) is the first person cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation, and the first neuropreservation patient in the world.[1] He was cryopreserved immediately after his legal death in July 1976, his identifier being A-1001. He was the father of Fred Chamberlain III, a co-founder of Alcor.
