CI-69
CI-69 (legal death on August 12, 2005)[1] is the first person vitrified by the Cryonics Institute and CI's 69th patient overall.[1] She was a 79-year-old female who had been living in a nursing home.[1] She had been a CI member for about four months before her cryopreservation.[1]
She was vitrified by using CI-VM-1.[2] Previously, CI had tested CI-VM-1 with two dogs, in August 2004 and February 2005.[2][3]
