Life logging, sometimes known as quantified self, is the process of tracking and recording personal data via various technologies including, but not limited to; Apps, Smart watches, wrist trackers, and cameras.

Many people take part in life logging without perhaps even realising they're doing so. The many forms of social media such as; Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (among others) can be said to be a form of life logging.
