Liu Aihui
- In this Chinese name, the family name is Liu.
Liu Aihui (Chinese: 劉愛慧) (c. 1945 – legal death June 17, 2018)[1] is the second non-confidential person cryopreserved by the Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute.[1][2] She had been receiving medical treatment at Tai’an Central Hospital in Tai’an, Shandong, China, about 100 kilometers from the Yinfeng facility.[1] She legally died from lung cancer in the hospital at age 72.[1]
According to Aaron Drake, the biggest difference between the first patient (Zhan Wenlian) and Liu was the timing of the ECMO procedure: Liu's ECMO procedure was started already in the hospital.[1]
