Synthetic meat or in vitro meat is flesh produced from a culture of animal muscle cells for human consumption. In the 21st century, several research projects have worked on in vitro meat in the laboratory.
Proponents such as David Pearce argue it is morally justified to invest into such research.
There is a small amount of lobbying in this area.[1]
