Dan Elton (born 1988) is an American AI researcher living in Bethesda, Maryland. In 2019, he founded the Maryland Transhumanist Party, where he serves as Chair. He is also a co-organizer for the DC Transhumanist Meetup. In 2020 he was appointed as Director of Scholarship for the U.S. Transhumanist Party.[1] He is the recipient of the 2020 Foresight Institute AI fellowship and the 2020 Kurzweil Prize for Best AGI Idea for his work on self-explaining AI . He edits H+Pedia as User:delton.
