Space exploration

Space exploration in a transhumanist context entails the adaptations that may need to be made to and around the human body in order to adapt to alien environments, relativistic timescales and distances, and the hostile environment of space itself.

In fiction

The most portrayal of space exploration in fiction is in a mostly non-transhumanist context, such as in Star Trek.

A major exception to this trope is the Culture series.
