The Avengers

The Avengers is 2012 science fantasy/fiction directed by Joss Whedon (Agents of Shield).

Plot

When Loki, the evil brother of Thor, captures alien technology named the "Tesseract" the fate of Earth is at stake.

Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) recruits a team of heroes in order to stop him from unleashing immeasurable amounts of chaos.

Fury puts a team together who would become known as The Avengers. The Avengers are: Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).
