I, Robot is a 2005 science fiction movie starring Will Smith that was directed by Robert Proyas.

It is loosely based on a short story collection written by Aasac Asimov of the same name. [1]

PlotПравить

When the founder of a robotics company commits suicide, detective Del Spooner (Will Smith) sets out to investigate. He soon uncovers a dangerous conspiracy and must put a stop to it.

Transhumanist ElementsПравить

The movie's main focus is on robots gone rogue, with bad AI programming and/or them becoming self aware being the main plot point.

The robots in the movie have also taken over many public service jobs, so there could be an element of technological unemployment taking place in the world too.

Detective Spooner is also a Technophobe.
